Player Wellbeing
Gaming on gwin should always be fun — a form of entertainment, not a source of stress or financial pressure. We take our responsibility to Filipino players seriously, and we've built real tools into the platform to help you stay in control. Whether you're in Manila, Cebu, Davao, or anywhere in the Philippines, gwin's responsible gaming framework is here for you.
The Foundation
Responsible gaming is about keeping the fun in gaming. At gwin, we believe that every Filipino player deserves to enjoy our platform — slots, Bingo, Mines Gold, live casino — without it ever becoming a problem. That means giving you the tools, the information, and the support to make informed choices every time you play.
gwin operates under PAGCOR's responsible gaming framework, which sets clear standards for how licensed operators must protect players. We go beyond the minimum requirements because we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our community.
Responsible gaming at gwin rests on three pillars: Prevention — stopping problems before they start; Intervention — identifying and responding to at-risk behaviour; and Support — connecting players with the help they need.
Gaming is entertainment. Set a budget before you play, treat any losses as the cost of entertainment, and never chase losses. If you follow these three rules, you're already playing responsibly.
Never rely on gambling as a source of income or to pay bills. Every game on gwin — from slots to live dealer — is a form of entertainment with a built-in house edge. Play with money you can afford to lose.
Decide how much time and money you're willing to spend before you start a session — not during it. gwin's deposit and session time limit tools make it easy to set these boundaries in advance and stick to them.
Chasing losses — increasing bets or playing longer to recover money you've lost — is one of the most common signs of problem gambling. If you've hit your loss limit, stop. Log out, take a break, and come back another day.
Age Verification
gwin strictly enforces the 21+ age requirement mandated by PAGCOR for all online gaming platforms in the Philippines. This is not just a checkbox — it is a core part of our commitment to protecting young Filipinos from the potential harms of gambling.
During registration, every applicant must confirm their age and submit a valid Philippine government-issued ID for verification. Accepted documents include a PhilSys National ID, passport, driver's licence, SSS ID, GSIS ID, PRC ID, or Voter's ID. Accounts where the holder is found to be under 21 are immediately closed.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has accessed the gwin platform, please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action without delay.
Parents and guardians: We recommend using parental control software to restrict access to online gaming sites on devices used by minors. gwin supports all efforts to keep underage individuals away from gambling platforms.
Built Into Your Account
Every tool below is free, available 24/7, and accessible directly from your gwin account settings. No need to call anyone — you're in control.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your gwin account on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering your limit takes effect immediately; raising it requires a 7-day cooling period.
Available in Account Settings → Limits
Set a maximum session duration so gwin automatically logs you out after a set period of play. You can choose limits from 30 minutes up to 8 hours per session. A reminder notification appears 10 minutes before your session limit is reached so you can wrap up naturally.
Available in Account Settings → Session Controls
Define the maximum amount you are willing to lose in a given period. When your net losses reach the limit you've set, gwin will prevent further play until the period resets. This tool is especially useful for players who want a hard stop on downswings regardless of available balance.
Available in Account Settings → Limits
Need a short break from gwin? A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your account for a period you choose — from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, you cannot log in, deposit, or play. Your account and balance are preserved and fully restored when the period ends.
Available in Account Settings → Take a Break
Self-exclusion is a serious, longer-term tool for players who feel they need to stop gambling entirely. You can self-exclude from gwin for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently. During self-exclusion, your account is fully locked — no logins, no deposits, no play — and all marketing communications are stopped immediately.
Available in Account Settings → Self-Exclusion
Enable reality check notifications to receive periodic pop-up reminders showing how long you've been playing and your net win/loss for the session. These reminders appear at intervals you choose — every 15, 30, or 60 minutes — and give you a moment to pause and decide whether to continue or stop.
Available in Account Settings → Notifications
Step-by-Step
Self-exclusion takes less than two minutes to activate. Once confirmed, it cannot be reversed until the exclusion period ends — this is intentional, to protect you from impulsive decisions to return.
If you are in crisis and need immediate help, do not wait. Contact the PAGCOR Helpline at 1800-1-888-0777 (24/7, toll-free within the Philippines) or reach out to gwin's live support chat right now.
Self-exclusion on gwin applies to the gwin platform only. If you want to exclude yourself from all PAGCOR-licensed operators, contact PAGCOR directly to register for the national self-exclusion programme.
Go to gwin.asia and sign in using your registered email and password. Make sure you are on a secure, private device.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the gwin platform and select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
In the Account Settings menu, select the "Responsible Gaming" tab. You will see all available tools including deposit limits, cooling-off, and self-exclusion.
Click "Self-Exclusion" and choose your exclusion duration: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent. Read the confirmation notice carefully before proceeding.
Enter your account password to confirm. Your self-exclusion takes effect immediately. You will receive a confirmation email and all marketing communications will stop at once.
Your account is now locked for the duration you selected. If you need support during this period, gwin's responsible gaming team is available via live chat — even while your account is excluded.
Know the Signs
Problem gambling can affect anyone — regardless of income, background, or how long you've been playing. Recognising the warning signs early is the first step toward getting help.
Spending more money on gambling than you planned or can afford, including borrowing money to fund play.
Chasing losses — continuing to play or increasing bet sizes to try to win back money you've already lost.
Spending more time gambling than intended, losing track of time during sessions, or neglecting other responsibilities.
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling, or using gambling to escape stress, anxiety, or depression.
Hiding gambling activity from family and friends, lying about how much time or money you spend on gaming.
Gambling affecting your work, studies, relationships, or ability to meet everyday financial obligations like rent or bills.
Repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut back or stop gambling, despite wanting to do so.
Needing to gamble with larger and larger amounts of money to get the same level of excitement or satisfaction.
If you recognise three or more of these signs in yourself or someone you know, it may be time to seek help. You are not alone — problem gambling is a recognised condition, and effective support is available in the Philippines. Use gwin's self-exclusion tool and reach out to the PAGCOR Helpline at 1800-1-888-0777.
